Frauke works on international law and future trends of warfare, particularly focusing on private military and security companies and autonomous weapons systems. She previously was Visiting Researcher at the Georgetown University Law Center as well as the East-West Center and brings work experience in consulting for one of the Big 4, private equity investors as well as government entities. Her passion lies in the nexus of law, politics and economics. She is a Pacific Forum CSIS Non-Resident Fellow.

Patrick previously worked for World Bank in Jakarta, the Asian Development Bank in Manila as well as think tanks in the U.S., including the National Bureau of Asian Research and the East-West Center. He was the Energy Security & Geopolitics Analyst for an industry journal in China and is Pacific Forum CSIS Non-Resident Fellow. Patrick lived, worked and researched in Asia for four years and developed a passion for climate and energy security, Chinese foreign & security policy as well as geopolitics. He is currently not working for IR.Asia.
